For people with memory disorders and their care partners. Trained Museum docents provide virtual talks to participants with memory disorders and their care partners. This program is carefully designed to provide meaningful engagement with art to facilitate socialization, stimulate visual and verbal abilities, and to spark memory. Tours are free of charge but pre-registration is required.

Memories at the Museum takes place in partnership with the Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and the Alzheimer's Association. This program alternates between four co-sponsoring museums all located in central Balboa Park: the Museum of Photographic Arts, Mingei International Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, and the Timken Museum of Art.
